Cartography Report Edit

Great trout with strong jaws, that live as ambush predators along the side of streams and are known for taking men into the water to drown and be eaten. Can get to be six feet long, and have fins like a Coelacanth to hold themselves in place along the bank. Their meat is prized for its natural sweetness.

Real World Notes Edit

The Snapping Trout is similar in appearance to a coelacanth and a sockeye or soho salmon, having the head and arched back of the two salmon species, but the larger body and feet-like fins of the coelacanth, allowing them to wait motionless along the shores of moving water.
