In the Second Age, Gander Helmstide rode into battle on a burly monstrosity of a horse. The two lived through so many battles that together they became known as the bloodless; those whose blood could not be drawn, for they had none to bleed. Gandiri succumbed to snakebite, but his legend lives on.
